Air Cooling(Standard Shaft)
Advantage of Air cooling: Easy to build, no need extra equipment. If you want to build electric motorcycle, which have plenty wind to provide cooling air, air cooling will be perfect choice for you.
Liquid Cooling(Standard Shaft)
Advantage of Liquid Cooling: You'll get a better cooling result. Besides, you can use it close position, like a car, outboard, which has no enough wind coming to cool the motor. But you need to make an extra pump to make it work.
We have been leading manufacturer of general-purpose brushless dc (BLDC) motors and Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (PMSM) since 2006, with power range from 200W to 30KW, and the voltage range from 24V to 144V DC. It has been widely used for many applications, eg., auto industry, electric motorcycles, scooters, electric cars, forklifts, go-kart, golf buggies, electric boats etc. It has better performances than other traditional dc motors. Our BLDC/PMSM motors are specially designed with our own patented axial flux technologies. The main difference between the PMSM and BLDC is regarding its control mechanism. BLDC motor uses the Trapezoidal control while PMSM motor uses the Sinusoidal control. The best thing is that our EZ controllers support both Trapezoidal control and Sinusoidal control in a single controller. User can choose/update the control firmware they like via free App provided (downloadable on controller page) over the air (OTA). Essentially, both BLDC and PMSM have distinct advantages and disadvantages. The optimal choice between these two motor types depends on the specific application and the unique features of your applications. Golden Motor is ready to provide either solutions you want.

What are advantages of axial flux motor?Axial flux motors have several advantages over traditional radial flux motors. Here are key advantages of axial flux motors:High torque density: Axial flux motors have a higher torque density than radial flux motors, which means they can deliver more torque per unit of volume. This makes them ideal for applications like electric motorcycles, electric go-kart, electric boats.High efficiency: Axial flux motors have a high efficiency, which means they can convert a higher percentage of electrical energy into mechanical energy. This results in lower energy losses and longer battery life in electric vehicles.Field weakening capability:The motor is designed to handle the high-speed operation, allows the motor to operate at speeds 60% higher than its base (or rated) speed without requiring a higher input voltage. The field weakening control offers the advantage of higher speed operation and greater flexibility in applications with variable speed requirements.Compact size and low weight: Axial flux motors are more compact and lightweight than radial flux motors of similar power output. This makes them suitable for applications where weight and size are critical, such as drones and robots.Regenerative Braking Capability:Like other BLDC/PMSM motors, axial flux motors can efficiently support regenerative braking, which is particularly useful in electric vehicle applications.Reduced Noise and Vibration:The design of axial flux motors often results in quieter operation and less vibration compared to traditional radial motors, which is a significant advantage in noise-sensitive applications.Less Cogging Torque:The unique design of axial flux motors can result in lower cogging torque. This is beneficial in applications where smooth operation and precise control are necessary.
