On November 13, CRRC's first offshore wind turbine was officially launched in Sheyang, Jiangsu Province. The unit focuses on the optimal target of kilowatt hour power cost in the whole life cycle of the project. It is a regional customized offshore wind turbine developed based on modular design and advanced research and development platform and on the basis of offshore parity.

10. XMW semi direct drive permanent magnet wind turbine is a high-power permanent magnet wind turbine developed for offshore wind turbine. The product adopts ultra compact structure. The generator and gearbox share the same end cover and shaft system. It is compact in structure and has the characteristics of light weight, high efficiency, low vibration, low temperature rise and low harmonic.
Light weight
The frame welded structure is adopted, and the lightweight design is carried out through the finite element simulation analysis method to ensure the strength and stiffness of the base structure.
Good cooling effect
The double water-cooling high efficiency cooling technology of base water-cooling+overhead empty water bag cooler is adopted to ensure the reliable operation of windings and permanent magnets at working temperature.
High integration
The generator and gearbox adopt ultra compact structure. The integrated design reduces the weight of the generator and greatly shortens the axial dimension of the drive chain.
High reliability
The reliable insulation system can adapt to the higher voltage change rate and peak voltage of the converter;
The fully sealed magnetic pole structure and special anti-corrosion system improve the operation reliability of "harsh" environments such as hot and humid, salt fog and mold at sea;
Low vibration
The special slot design optimizes the rotor pole structure size, reduces harmonic content, improves power quality, and reduces torque ripple and generator vibration.
This offshore wind turbine has achieved full coverage of power levels of 8-12MW. The platform based products can carry out regional customized development and configuration according to the specific conditions of different sea areas, so as to achieve the best customer profitability and the lowest cost of electricity in the whole life cycle.
This unit has an efficient power generation performance. Under the rated wind speed, each turn can generate 22 degrees of electricity. A single unit can output about 50 million degrees of clean electricity every year. According to the normal power consumption of ordinary families, a single unit can generate electricity every year to meet the power demand of about 25000 households, reduce 14600 tons of coal consumption and reduce 36500 tons of carbon dioxide emissions, which has very significant energy conservation and emission reduction benefits.
