According to the national supervision and spot check on the quality of fabric steam engines sold online reported by relevant departments, 10 of the 63 batches of fabric steam engines inspected were found to be unqualified, and the unqualified rate was 15.9%. According to the test, five batches of products are involved in the stability and mechanical hazards. The nominal manufacturers of these five batches are Shanghai Pu'er Electrical Appliance Co., Ltd., Shanghai Kunyu Electrical Appliance Co., Ltd., Taizhou Huangyan Jieli Electrical Appliance Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Huaxincheng Electrical Appliance Co., Ltd. and Xi'an Bohuan Electronic Technology Co., Ltd.

In addition to the unqualified stability, during the use of the existing binding ironing machine, the quality problem of sudden steam injection may also occur, causing harm to consumers.

After testing, four batches of products were found to be unqualified in structure, and the nominal producers were Baoke (Shanghai) Network Technology Co., Ltd., Foshan Ibeli Electrical Technology Co., Ltd., Shiqi Xiuer (Guangzhou) Technology Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Pu'er Electrical Co., Ltd.

The reporter saw that after the qualified product was dried in the water tank, the thermal protection device inside the product cut off the circuit, and the ironing machine stopped working.

The product suddenly caught fire during abnormal test, and the whole body was engulfed by the flame. After the test, it can be seen that the shell of some ironing machine has been completely burned.

According to the test, three batches of the ironing machine were found to be unqualified for abnormal work items, involving the nominal Dongguan Kyodo International Trade Co., Ltd., Shanghai Pu'er Electrical Appliance Co., Ltd. and Shiqi Xiuer (Guangzhou) Technology Co., Ltd.

Industry experts remind consumers to pay special attention to whether the product has the function of anti dry burning and water free automatic power cut off when purchasing the fabric steam engine, which is safer to use.

For the problems found, the relevant departments require to urge the e-commerce platform to immediately remove the unqualified products; Seal up and detain unqualified products according to law, clear up and dispose of the inventory, order the manufacturer of unqualified products to stop producing and selling the same products, and implement rectification measures.
